Yelverton Taylor
June 27, 1778  Sloop Comet.  4 Guns  25 Crew.  Bonded by Yelverton TaylorT and Tho. Leamng, Owner Thomas Leaming.  Early in Oct. 1779 Capt. Taylor sent into LEH  a transport from NY to Halifax with a quantity of dry goods, and 214 Hessians including a Colonel who were sent to prison in Philadelphia.
